Anyone working with tripod heads knows that counterbalance is vital to smooth operating.
Bringing sufficient counterforce to keep the balance between the tripod head and the camera is crucial for a perfect shot.
This is why Camgear has developed a new, ultra-precise counterbalance system, for its range of tripod systems, from the lightweight Mark-Series, to the V-Series which can cope with larger cine or OB set-ups, and the enhanced systems of the Elite-Series. The new, patented wheel allows finer and faster counterbalance settings.
In a nice touch, its high-end Elite-Series comes with a screw key hidden in the sliding plate, so there’s no longer a need to carry a screwdriver or a coin around. There’s also a parking position for spare camera screws on top of the head. The aluminium pan bar rosette is replaceable, while the heads have an illuminated touch bubble. The tripod systems are supplied with the new 3S-Fix system, which make locking of the legs easier.
Camgear is exhibiting at IBC2019 on Stand 12.B36.
