STV, one of three national TV channels in Belarus, has taken delivery of a new HD OB, plus a support vehicle, built by TVC and on show in the Outside Exhibit area at IBC.
The OB made its debut over the Summer covering the 2nd European Games. It is designed to cope with extreme conditions, and includes additional interior floor heating plus heating for the exterior mechanical systems.
The 12m OB has dual expanding sides and sits on an Iveco chassis. It is built around a Grass Valley Kahuna 4800 2M/E production switcher, with Nvision 8144 video/audio router; two K2-Dynos3-Elite-16 slow motion servers; two INTV Atlas Sport HD graphics systems; Tektronix measurement; Ikegami, Postium and Sony monitoring with a Grass Valley multiviewer; a Lawo VSM Studio control system; and Broaman/Optocore media transport over fibre.
It handles up to 16 cameras, with Canon lenses, and includes Grass Valley LDX 82 Flex models with fibre connections, plus high-speed LDX 86 HS cameras, with Vislink Incam G links for wireless cameras. It has a Lawo mc²56-48f audio desk, with Neumann 5.1 monitoring and Junger Dolby en/decoding, plus Clear-Com Eclipse-HX-Delta intercom, Riedel Riface and Motorola wireless talk-back, and AEQ Olympia 3 commentator units.
TVC is exhibiting at IBC2019 on Stand 0.A04 and 0.A06.
