The new Titan X2 LED soft light is claimed to be “the brightest 2x1 soft light ever made,” delivering up to “twice the output of comparable LED lights with none of the added weight”.
The flicker-free RGBWW light has a CCT range of 2800K – 6300K, with a TLCI of 98. Users can electronically adjust its diffusion, focus and spread, with no need for gels.
It has an easy user interface, using an LCD touchscreen offering access to key features with a single touch – including 10 user-customisable presets, with on-screen previews of its extensive filter library. It will also offer wired and wireless DMX (LumenRadio), Bluetooth (for app control) and Ethernet connections.
There are five lighting modes (CCT, HSI, RGBW, XY and Filter, which includes a library of more than 1300 gels), plus user-customisable CineSFX (fire, lightning, TV, gunshot, paparazzi, and so on).
The light is also useful for photography, with High Speed Sync flash (1/8000th) and zero recycle time. Up to ten units can be wirelessly triggered (up to 200m) with a Rotolight HSS transmitter.
Rotolight is exhibiting at IBC2019 on Stand 12.E37.
