Global growth has prompted TAG Video Systems to expand its international team. Eitan Dvir has been named VP of customer success, Nir Cang joins as director of technical operations and Chris Welsh is now a product specialist.
Kevin Joyce, Zer0 Friction Officer at TAG, said: “We’re delighted to add three more to the TAG team; all extremely experienced and all dedicated to delivering the definitive level of customer service. Eitan will ensure customers leverage all the benefits TAG offers, Nir will provide support for the sales team’s efforts, and the addition of Chris fortifies TAG’s commitment to excellence in the Americas.”
Dvir previously served in high-level customer success positions for a diverse cross section of industries, including as head of delivery/customer success for DBmaestro, director of business operation EMEA/APAC for Verint and services director for HTS/Certus.
Eitan Dvir has been named VP of customer success
As VP of customer success, Dvir’s primary objective is to prioritise customer satisfaction and deliver on the TAG ‘Zer0 Friction’ philosophy. He will work closely with the global sales team to define current and future customer workflows, identify and eliminate obstacles to customer satisfaction and lead the company in implementing data-driven improvement initiatives. He is based in Israel.
Cang began his career as a sound engineer and comes to TAG following nearly 11 years with Dalet Digital Media Systems where he transitioned from QA engineer to project engineer to presales technical consultant.
At TAG, Cang is concentrating on pre-sales activities with a special focus on OTT. His additional responsibilities include providing technical support to the sales team which includes performing demos for individual customers and also at trade shows. Cang is based in Israel, but his extensive experience working in Asia will be playing an instrumental role in the company’s expansion in the region, specifically in the OTT market.
Based in Ontario, Canada, broadcast technology veteran Welsh’s addition to the team demonstrates TAG’s commitment to investing resources in the Americas that support the company’s global growth initiative.
Welsh will determine, develop and design technology solutions, specifically those that relate to IP, and target the challenges inherent in the vast and rapidly evolving region. He will also be responsible for supplying pre-sales and customer support as well as technical training.
An industry veteran of nearly 20 years, Welsh joins TAG from Rogers Media where he held the position of broadcast technician, production engineering. He formerly held key roles as a broadcast technologist for several major systems vendors including Lawo, Ross Video and Rhode & Schwarz Canada. Prior to working for vendors Welsh provided extensive engineering and systems support for a national Canadian broadcaster.
Joyce added: “We’re so proud to bring Eitan, Nir and Chris on board. They each bring special skills and knowledge, and a wealth of experience with them.”
