Future Zone
The Future Zone located next to the Partners’ Pavilion. The Future Zone is home to the latest ideas, innovations and incredible technologies from the industry. The theme for 2017 is on multi-sensory virtual worlds and imagery of the future. Step through the Future Zone ‘time tunnel’ into the exciting realms of mixed reality (MR), 3D audio, mind-blowing video displays and holographic projections.
Multimedia Presentations
Multi Media Presentations (MMPs) are peer reviewed alongside the Technical Papers and will be on display for all attendees to view in the Ruby Lounge.
The MMPs are a key area of the show linking the conference and exhibition. You will have the opportunity to meet the authors and gain real insight into the projects being developed in research and development labs.
Launch Pad
The IBC Launch Pad is located in Hall 9, and the best place to see the latest innovations from IBC’s newest exhibitors. Running for the duration of the IBC Show you’ll have the opportunity to network with emerging companies and see first-hand their revolutionary technology.
IBC IP Showcase - Powering into IP signal flows
Visit the IBC IP Showcase in E.106 where you will see real-time IP for production, playout and contribution in a practical, flexible and efficient way. With IP rapidly being adopted across the industry this is not to be missed.
The 19 September programme will explore what IP is all about, offer a guide for real-time IP video, present a case study of a national broadcast contribution network using IP and more. For the full programme see here.
