Nick Davis, Executive Director of Equity & Inclusion, CBC, English Services
Nicholas Davis is an accomplished journalist and writer. He’s currently the Executive Director of Equity and Inclusion at CBC. Previous to that he was Manager of Program Development for CBC, where he was responsible for the ongoing development of local programming in radio, television and online.
Nick has worked in radio, television and print for the past 33 years covering everything from current affairs to the arts. He has won many awards for his journalism, including a 2006 Gabriel for a story he did on Holly Jones. He’s worked at CBC for the past 23 years as a reporter and producer — most notably as Senior Producer for Metro Morning, where Nick was part of the team that made the program the number one morning show in Toronto.
Nick has published and edited magazines, been a crime reporter, hosted TV and radio programs. He has covered two Olympic Games (Nagano and Sydney) and has taught radio skills to new journalists across the country for CBC. He’s also lectured on journalism at Ryerson University, Seneca College, Sheridan College and Centennial College.
Monica Ramirez, Dubbing Mixer, Sky Post Production
Monica Ramirez is a highly experienced audio Dubbing Mixer, with 22 years under her belt in the European TV industry. She studied a degree in Telecommunications Engineering, specialising in Audiovisual in Barcelona. After graduating, Monica joined Gestmusic Endemol (now Gestmusic Banijay Iberia) working as an Assistant, recording VO and preparing audio sessions. Monica advanced quickly and soon found herself working on some of the most popular entertainment shows in Spain, such as Operacion Triunfo (Operation Triumph), Tu Si Que Vales (Your Big Day), Mira Quien Baila (Strictly Dancing) and Alla Tu (Deal or No Deal).
Monica moved to the UK and joined Sky Post Production in 2012 as a Dubbing Mixer, and in her ten years at Sky Monica has worked on a huge variety of content. Some of Monicas’s latest credits include Gary Newman: Resurrection, Classic Albums: Suede Coming Up, Offended by Irvine Welsh, Power Game: The Story of Qatar and the series Hotspots for Sky News.
Gillian Vamplew - Deputy Managing Editor, UK Ops, BBC News
Gillian Vamplew is a highly experienced broadcast professional who has spent over 30 years in the industry, including a long and successful career at the BBC.
Gillian started at the BBC in local radio in the 1980s working across a number of broadcast roles from presentation to technical operations. She joined the World Service as a Trainee Studio Manager in 1992 covering both English and foreign language radio news programming. Her dedication, hard work, and attention to detail have enabled her promotion to a wide range of positions over the years, taking on new responsibilities and becoming a senior figure the department.
In 2019, she was appointed Deputy Managing Editor for UK Operations, a prestigious role that placed her at the heart of BBC News’ broadcast operations across television, radio and online. One of the key priorities in her current role is to lead on apprenticeships for the department. She is passionate about helping young people to get started in the industry and has launched a number of initiatives to provide training, support, and guidance for those looking to embark on a career in broadcast operations.
In addition to her work on apprenticeships, she is also a vocal advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace. She has launched outreach presentations and workshops to raise awareness of the many roles available at the BBC and encourage young people from all cultures and backgrounds to apply for jobs with the organisation.
Throughout her career, Gillian has demonstrated a deep commitment to excellence and a passion for broadcasting. She is very proud to work at the BBC and to be part of bringing its important work and opportunities to the next generation of broadcasters.
Nathalie Lethbridge, Founder and Managing Director, Atonik Digital
Nathalie Lethbridge is the Founder and Managing Director of Atonik Digital, an international boutique advisory firm focusing on streamed entertainment and content strategy and audience monetisation based in London., Nathalie is passionate about the growth opportunities presented by changing audience behaviour across the traditional and digital/OTT content ecosystem. She previously held senior leadership roles with leading global entertainment and broadcasting companies, content and mobile platforms and streamed entertainment innovators.
Nathalie is a regular contributor at international conferences on topics associated with transformation in the entertainment industry. A dual French-Australian national, born in New York and raised in Australia, Asia and Europe, residing in London.

Rebecca is the marketing lead at Caretta Research with a passion for communication and connectivity which translates into the enthusiastic and human-centric approach of her work. She has an honours double major from the University of Western Ontario and a strong interest in understanding and promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
