Interra Systems is applying operational AI to QC, monitoring and captioning workflows, showcasing the latest releases of Orion, Baton 9.5 M1, Baton Captions and Vega at IBC2026.
Anupama Anantharaman, Vice President of Product Management at Interra, said: “AI is quickly moving beyond isolated tasks and into the orchestration of complete media workflows from QC and monitoring to captioning, localisation, ad signalling, compliance, and real-time delivery assurance.”
She continued: “At Interra Systems, our AI strategy is focused on practical, explainable intelligence that helps customers improve accuracy, scale operations, and manage emerging quality risks. For broadcasters and streaming providers, the opportunity is not simply to automate more, but to automate with accuracy, transparency, and trust.”
"At IBC2026 we will showcase real-world examples of how our solutions are helping leading media organisations worldwide manage live, FAST, IP, OTT, and hybrid workflows," she added.
Orion is designed to provide continuous, end-to-end visibility across linear, IP and OTT delivery chains, with the latest release extending that visibility into 4K, IP and production workflows.
Baton 9.5 M1 features updated audio and video quality checks designed to improve accuracy and expand detection capabilities.
Baton Captions adds Maestro, a built-in AI assistant providing contextual product answers, alongside automated AI generation of content summaries and scene tags for identifying profanity or violence.
Recent updates to Vega include support for AV1 and VVC, faster multicore analysis, built-in chatbot assistance, broader cloud compatibility and upgraded diagnostic tools.
