Bundesliga, the German football league, has launched a free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel in the UK and Ireland.
Bundesliga has partnered with streaming service Samsung TV Plus to launch its first-ever FAST channel.
Viewers can watch subscription-free live action, including Friday night Bundesliga matches and select Bundesliga 2 games, as well as highlights, interviews, press conferences, and behind-the-scenes content.
The channel can be accessed on Samsung TV Plus, which is available on Samsung TVs, Galaxy, and Samsung Smart Monitor devices.
The launch of the channel is designed to tap into growing demand for Bundesliga content in the UK and Ireland, with England captain Harry Kane making waves in the league ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
It marks an expansion of UK partnerships that Bundesliga announced earlier in 2025.
Sky Sports has the first pick of each round of fixtures on Saturday evenings, while Amazon Prime Video has the pay-per-view rights to all games aired on Sunday afternoons.
All Friday night games are streamed on the BBC’s digital platforms and the Bundesliga’s official YouTube account.
Up to 20 Friday night fixtures are also being aired on The Overlap and creator Mark Goldbridge’s That’s Football YouTube channels.
“Our approach is as diverse as our fans – and this FAST channel is the next proof of that,” said Peer Naubert, Chief Executive of Bundesliga International. “With a Bundesliga channel on Samsung TV Plus, we’re taking another step in how the Bundesliga can be experienced in the UK: free, live, and closer than ever before.
“Following the strong response to our new UK partnerships earlier this year, we’re proud to expand our footprint once again. This launch shows that the Bundesliga doesn’t just talk about innovation – we deliver it, bringing world-class football to fans wherever they are.”
Spending on US sports rights recently surged 122% over the past decade, rising from $13.8bn in 2015 to $30.5bn in 2025, according to new research from Ampere Analysis. Discover more here.
