Prime Video has launched Clips, a scrollable, short-form vertical video feed for mobile phones.
The company first launched a version of Clips with NBA highlights on the NBA collection page during the 2025-26 season and is now expanding the service to include moments from movies and series.
Clips is available on the Prime Video mobile home page. From any clip, subscribers can: watch the full title; rent or buy it; subscribe to access it; save the title to a watchlist; or “like” the clip and share it with a friend.
The feed is initially rolling out to select customers in the United States on iOS, Android, and Fire tablets, with the experience becoming fully available across these devices in the summer of 2026.
Prime Video is the latest streamer to offer a short-form highlights video feed for mobile. A similar experience on Disney+ is called Verts, while Netflix launched its own version last month – also called Clips.
“As a first-stop entertainment destination, Prime Video offers customers a vast selection of premium content, and we want to make it as easy and seamless as possible for them to discover what's most relevant," said Brian Griffin, Director of Global Application Experiences at Prime Video. "Clips gives customers a whole new way to browse with short, personalised snippets tailored to their interests. Whether they have a few minutes to scroll or are looking for something to watch when they have more time, entertainment is just a tap away.”
Clips joins a series of recent improvements to the Prime Video mobile experience. These include a refreshed home page that auto-plays trailers as customers browse and vertical images designed for phone screens that allow customers to see up to 50% more titles on their screen.
At MIP London, broadcasters and new entrants alike gathered to strategise how to cut through the noise, hold audiences, and capitalise on the transformational digital side of the business, including micro-dramas, podcasting, and AI. Discover more here.
