Behind the scenes: The United Stand 

Greg Hartley, Producer of The United Stand, reveals how the fan channel built a studio workflow to provide live football coverage to 1.83 billion viewers.

The United Stand launched in August 2014 as a Manchester United fan channel. It now has 2.26 million YouTube subscribers, around 1.83 billion views and more than 13,500 videos. In April 2026, Gary Neville’s The Overlap acquired The United Stand and That’s Football in a reported seven-figure deal, with the two channels bringing a combined 3.7 million subscribers to the group.
