BR Remote’s new AC180 is a multi-function remote pan/tilt/zoom camera for use outdoors and on water, as it is built to withstand high pressure water jets and full immersion in the sea.
It can be used on a boat or telescopic pole, and can be operated remotely. It includes a roll axis and stabilisation for use on non-stable platforms – such as a yacht deck. It can automatically keep the horizon level, and has three axes of physical movement: pan tilt and roll – all three of which can have the stabilisation switched on or off, individually.
The camera is built largely from carbon fibre, bonded to an aluminium frame, with o-rings and other seals to ensure that it is weatherproof to both IP66 and IP67 standards, so it needs no extra protection in harsh, wet environments. It also has a hidden wash and wipe feature to clean the lens.
The AC180 contains all the features of BR Remote’s CamBall4 VR, packaged in an aerodynamic design. It has positional metadata, smart profile moves, DMX control and advanced CCU control. A vision engineer can therefore adjust the camera remotely and match its pictures to AR or VR graphics in a professional production.
BR Remote is exhibiting at IBC2019 on Stand 12.F63.
