French tech firm Analog Way will showcase Aquilon, its new range of modular, scalable 4K and 8K multi-screen presentation systems and videowall processors, at IBC2026 next month.
The system is designed to manage ultra-wide, custom-resolution, multi-output LED walls used for TV studio backdrops, panoramic presentation sets and virtual production stages. It supports non-standard source formats, including media servers and real-time rendering engines, allowing content to stay in its native format without the synchronisation constraints of conventional production equipment.
Aquilon’s image processing engine, combined with 3D LUT-based colour management, aims to ensure consistent colour reproduction across mixed sources and display technologies. This matters for LED walls used as on-camera backgrounds, where scaling artefacts or colour inconsistencies can become visible in the final broadcast image.
Ultra-low latency processing is designed to keep on-set displays synchronised with live action and camera feeds, avoiding timing discrepancies when both appear in the same shot.
