Rohde & Schwarz’s first virtualised product, Prismon.cloud, a fully cloud-based monitoring-as-a-service, is now being extended across more EU countries.
A flexible, scalable pricing model allows users to significantly reduce capital investment. It now integrates monitoring of ST 2110 on-premise streams in the unit’s dashboard, incident notification via email and a REST API for integration of status data in network management.
The Prismon monitoring and IP-multiviewer family also now benefits from increased capacities for SDI/ASI-I/Os, enhanced configuration for PTP and support for extended colour spaces in ST 2110.
Rohde & Schwarz has also extended its SpycerNode media storage system with a compact new 2U height unit version plus several new JBOD capacity extension units.
The new R&S SpycerPAM production asset management system allows workgroup editing and seamless integration of various editing and mastering platforms such as Adobe Premier, Avid Media Composer, Apple Final Cut Pro and R&S Clipster.
The latest version of Clipster includes a Dolby Vision iCMU (integrated content mapping unit), facilitating live HDR conversion from high peak luminance to low peak luminance, or to SDR. Clipster also gets Dolby Atmos Home workflows support. R&S Venice studio production system also gets HDR improvements and web service control.
Rhode & Schwarz is exhibiting at IBC2019 on Stand 7.B21
