Adopting open-source AI for both security and cost savings, nxtedition will demo its integration of Meta’s Llama 3 large language model directly on its platform.
The integration allows semantic content search using natural language queries. It also integrates with OpenAI’s Whisper for voice-to-text transcription, automating content title and description generation for social media posts. Scripts can be augmented with Llama 3 to create new story angles based on the current script and video content. Llama 3 will also provide AI logging services by detecting shots and writing shot descriptions.
AI-assisted text editing has also been added to the nxt|edit NLE, along with additional graphics tracks and multiple audio tracks with audio metering. Version 22 of nxtedition includes integration with DaVinci Resolve, automated thumbnail previews for fast video preview directly in the rundown, and a new map view displaying the GPS location for any asset in the platform.
Visitors to the nxtedition stand will also have the chance to experience a fully automated XR studio gallery using a VR headset, showcasing the advanced use of XR mixed reality technology in a live production setting.
