Business data management platform provider Jump Data-Driven Video has partnered with UAE-based start-up VYND.IO to release Jump’s full suite of artificial intelligence-based tools across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Jump Data-Driven Video’s suite of data management tools are designed to enable OTT, pay-TV, free-to-air and telecoms operators to better manage customer churn and retention, create actionable audience segments and generate customer insights.
VYND.IO tracks content availability across all entertainment platforms and indexes the content on the www.vynd.it platform to allow the audience to find exactly where to legally watch the content they want in one place for free. The company then provides AI-supported tools to the entertainment services to support them in maximising the customer lifecycle value of their audience.
Jump Data-Driven Video noted that the digital and broadcast entertainment industry is currently facing significant competition and fragmentation, with a large number of digital services and business models vying for supremacy. In this environment SVoDs are facing battles with churn even as they spend ever-increasing amounts on originals; AVoDs are facing increasing challenges to attract viewers; in this world, data, and the impactful utilisation of data, is a significant competitive advantage.
Jesus Herrero, co-founder and CRO, Jump Data-Driven Video, said: “We are thrilled that our suite of tools will be accessible across the region. VYND.IO brings significant experience and understanding of the video entertainment industry in the MENA region and we are looking forward to embarking on this journey together with the VYND.IO team.”
Nader Sobhan, co-founder and CEO, VYND.IO, said: “The Jump Data-Driven Video toolkit fits seamlessly with our approach to supporting the video entertainment industry through data, and we are excited by the increased depth of insights we are able to generate for our clients as a result of this partnership. We are increasingly integrating entertainment services into our flagship www.vynd.it platform and we are looking forward to offering even more impact to the MENA entertainment industry in the coming years.”
