In addition to a comprehensive content programme and more than 1000 exhibitors showing their latest innovations, there are also multiple opportunities for visitors to IBC2023 to make new connections and catch up with contacts thanks to a whole host of networking events throughout the show.
A Premium Pass is the guaranteed way to have the ultimate networking experience, with access to exclusive events and a networking lounge. Special events include a happy hour between 17:00 and 18:00 on the Friday and Saturday of the show. As well as giving delegates the chance to meet other Premium Pass holders, these events will also welcome speakers from the IBC Conference, including Keynote Speaker Marco Tempest on Saturday.
The Premium Lounge, meanwhile, is an oasis of calm in the middle of a busy tradeshow. It offers space to have meetings, with refreshments on hand, and network with your fellow Premium delegates.
The Lounge will also host this year’s invite-only Innovation Awards ceremony. As well as being among the first to discover who has won these coveted awards, delegates will also be able to network with all those on the shortlist.
Away from the Premium Lounge and there are many other networking opportunities not to be missed. Saturday is packed with events, including a Gaming/Unlocked Networking event between 13:30-14:30 in the all-new Gaming Zone in Hall 8, and a drinks reception in the Accelerators Zone (3.A25) between 17:00-18:00. This will offer visitors the chance to meet the champions and participants involved in the 2023 IBC Accelerator Innovation Programme.
On Sunday, the free-to-attend Social Impact Awards take place in the Forum at 16:30, followed by the Changemakers Party at 17:45, offering the ideal opportunity to celebrate and make new connections.
Monday then kicks off with a networking breakfast supported by GALSNGEAR, Women in Streaming Media and Rise from 10:00-11:00 in the Forum Lounge. Combining a discussion on the importance of allyship with a delicious breakfast, this event is open to all. Come ready to share your experiences and learn how to make allyship happen.
Each day of the show also sees multiple networking opportunities on exhibitor stands, with many organising happy hours, receptions, competitions and events. And, of course, The Beach will be open throughout the show, offering the perfect place to grab a drink, meet colleagues and start new conversations – especially if the sun is shining!
