India’s Phantom Digital Effects is bringing together visual effects studios Milk, Lola Post, Tippett Studio, PhantomFX, and SpectrePost together under a new umbrella group called Phantom Media Group.
The launch of Phantom Media Group (PMG) follows the acquisition of UK-based Milk and Lola Post in July 2025 by Phantom Digital Effects, the parent company of PhantomFX.
US-based Tippett was acquired in 2024, the same year that Chennai-headquartered Phantom launched Spectre Post in Bengaluru, India.
As a result, PMG now connects talent across North America, the UK and Europe, and APAC, offering end-to-end creative solutions spanning film, episodic, commercial, and immersive content.
PMG said that each studio will retain its unique creative identity and leadership but benefit from global collaboration, streamlined production pipelines, and shared technological innovation.
“This launch reflects who we are today: a truly global group built on a phenomenal legacy and powered by an incredibly talented team,” said Bejoy Arputharaj, CEO and Founder of PMG and PhantomFX. “Together, we are expanding our capabilities to foster deeper creative partnerships worldwide. This is an exciting new chapter one that reflects our ambitions for the future.”
“PMG brings together the expertise of leading studios into a powerhouse network that combines scale, agility and innovation,” said Ian Unterreiner, Executive Vice President (EVP) of PMG. “By aligning talent, technology, and resources across key regions, we can maintain world-class creative standards and deliver exceptional results for clients around the globe.”
