Simon Miller is responsible for helping leading video distribution platforms in EMEA, LATAM and APAC overcome content search, discovery and personalisation challenges in order to deliver highly engaging entertainment experiences spanning TV, movies, sports and music. Prior to joining Nielsen, Simon was an Executive Producer at Bloomberg Sports where he successfully launched a weekly TV show titled “Football Dynamics” which provided fans a unique combination of data-driven insights and expert opinions on the game. Earlier, Simon served as CEO of Betfair TV where he oversaw development of the world’s first gaming app to sit alongside live sports broadcasts on Samsung Connected TV. During his time at Betfair, he won two industry awards recognising innovation. Throughout a more than 20 year career in the media, advertising and sports industries, Simon has also held roles at BskyB’s Sky Bet, J. Walter Thompson and Publicis.
Tobias Froehlich, founder and managing director, TeraVolt GmbH
Tobias Fröhlich is the founder and Managing Director of TeraVolt GmbH, an owner-managed agency for digital TV products and consulting. Before founding TeraVolt in 2006, the experienced media professional and trained journalist worked as executive producer and editorial director at various TV production companies. As an expert in product and innovation, his propositions have won numerous awards such as Product of the Year, Most Innovative Product and Best Digital First Product. As a former radio presenter, he is absolutely passionate about music and plays the drums in his spare time.
Jack Genovese, research manager, Ampere Analysis - Sports
Jack leads the Ampere Sports team, which is responsible for researching and analysing the sports media rights markets in a variety of territories around the world, as well as providing insights on the wider sports business landscape on a club and competition level. He joined Ampere Analysis in January 2021, and has nearly a decade of experience in the media and TV space. Prior to joining Ampere Analysis Jack has worked at the UK media regulator Ofcom, as well as leading media research houses and consultancies. He has worked with a range of clients across multiple media sectors including regulators, public entities, tech giants, broadcasters, telcos, pay TV providers and OTT players.
