Delivering tangible generative AI applications that can drive return on investment is the aim of Qvest’s newly-announced collaboration with Nvidia, which it hopes will help to drive AI adoption in the media and entertainment industry.
Christophe Ponsart, EVP and Applied AI Practice Co-Lead, Qvest US, said: “The collaboration with Nvidia enables us to quickly deliver powerful use cases for media and entertainment companies. Together, we are helping our customers generate value from AI in areas most impactful for their business.”
The collaboration combines Qvest’s media and entertainment expertise with Nvidia’s AI capabilities and technology platform. It aims to enhance the GenAI offerings in Qvest’s Applied AI practice that address the business challenges of media companies and help increase their productivity, promote creativity and optimise processes.
These will include automated metadata tagging across text, audio and vision, accelerated content discovery, andempowered content generation, with iterations based on contextually relevant headlines, scripts and narratives, that can be delivered in seconds.
Nvidia NIM inference microservices will play a critical role in the collaboration, offering seamless hosting of GenAI models for computer vision, content generation, and audio transcription. Companies can run their models in the cloud or locally, while ensuring that data remains secure and optimising performance.
Qvest plans to integrate Nvidia Holoscan, an AI-enabled, software-defined platform for live media, for real-time streaming ingestion and content discovery. This will increase security, reduce costs and boost performance, says the company.
