M2A Media said it has partnered with Japan-based systems integrator Photron to enhance live video distribution workflows for sports rights owners and major broadcasters in Japan, adding that the move “marks a significant step” in the expansion of M2A Media business in the Japanese market.

M2A Media says the collaboration sees it providing an integrated cloud solution that enables Photron to manage multiple live video workflows concurrently within the M2A console, while maintaining control over customer relationships and operations. The deployment includes six key workflows, handling a substantial volume of live content. The M2A Media Console is available in Japanese language.
Tsutomu Nakayama, Operating Officer of Sports Business Division at Photron, said: “In the realm of sports content, immediacy and scalability are paramount for delivering exceptional value. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to collaborate with M2A in Japan, leveraging their broadcasting and IP distribution services to develop innovative sports content.”
Ciarán Doran, CEO of M2A Media, added: “We are delighted to be working with Photron to continue our advanced cloud-based video solutions in Japan.
