MTC Jockey Club becomes first deployment of Zixi’s Mauritius

Live video delivery and workflow orchestration specialist Zixi has announced its first direct deployment in Mauritius with the MTC Jockey Club (MTCJC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mauritius Turf Club.

The deployment is said to mark a significant strategic milestone for Zixi as it expands its footprint across the Indian Ocean region.

Viraj Pabaroo, Head of Broadcast Operations at MTC Jockey Club, said: “Live horse racing is time-critical and unforgiving. We needed a platform that could give us the confidence that every feed would arrive on time and that, if something went wrong, we would know exactly where to look. Zixi’s Zen Master gave us that visibility from day one. The proof-of-concept removed any doubt, and we are excited to build on this platform as we look to bring Mauritian racing to audiences around the world.”

Marc Aldrich, CEO of Zixi, added: “The MTC Jockey Club is one of the great institutions of world sport, and we are proud that they have chosen Zixi to power their live racing workflows. This deployment demonstrates exactly what Zen Master was built for: giving broadcast operations teams complete visibility and control over complex, mission-critical live events. We look forward to growing alongside MTCJC as they expand their international distribution ambitions.”

The initial deployment supports MTCJC's international content distribution, with plans to extend into further markets over time using a range of delivery protocols.
