Adder Technology has extended its ZeroU portfolio with the addition of a pair of new KVM transmitters that bring HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity.
By introducing the two new variants, customers have more choice and flexibility when selecting a model that is best suited to their KVM requirements, according to Adder. Support for video resolutions up to 2560x1600 allows for pixel-perfect data visualisation, while two-channel HDMI audio, high-speed USB 2.0 compatibility and Adder’s USB True Emulation technology, deliver an ‘at-the-PC’ experience for users.
Christian Boden, new technology manager, at Nobeo, a specialist in outside broadcast and post-production, said: “When moving Nobeo1, our leading and most modern OB truck, to a UHD workflow we needed a KVM solution that made efficient use of valuable rack space, and gave production staff access to vital equipment without distraction or hesitation. The truck is at the core of many leading outside productions, so reliability was essential. We specified Adder’s ZeroU range, and it has continued to deliver for us time and time again. It is great to now have the flexibility to connect our HDMI and DisplayPort sources to our existing network without needing to rip and replace.”
John Halksworth, senior product manager, Adder, commented: “Our customers are constantly juggling how to maximise rack space and IT efficiency, while adapting their IT infrastructure to support their evolving technology needs. As KVM often lies at the heart of our customers’ IT function, it is important that we continue to innovate to meet these changing demands, remove connectivity pain points and facilitate growth. The new additions to our ZeroU range enable our customers to embrace the flexibility the need to use any connectivity type that suits their application – both now and into the future.”
