Cooke has added to its offering of full-frame lenses with new models in its S7/i and Anamorphic/i Full Frame Plus ranges. This includes the addition of three new 1:1 macro lenses.
The 1:1 macro Full Frame Plus models are a new branch of its S7/i family, and are the 60mm, 90mm and 150mm, all T2.5. The 60mm has a close focus of 55mm, while the 90mm focuses to 114mm, and the 150mm to 172mm.
It has also added a 300mm/T3.3 model to its S7/i range of Full Frame Plus Primes. The remaining S7/i lenses are T2 (16, 18, 21, 25, 27, 32, 40, 50, 65, 75, 100 and 135mm). The S7/i models are designed to cover full-frame cinema camera sensors up to at least the full sensor area of the Red Weapon 8K (46.31mm image circle).
All the new lenses come with /i Technology for frame-by-frame digital information capture, and are colour matched to the rest of its offering.
The Anamorphic/i Full Frame Plus prime lenses come in a choice of two coatings: Standard and SF (Special Flair) – which produces an exaggerated lens flare effect if required by the cinematographer. The set includes 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm and 135mm (all T2.3), plus the new 180mm/T2.9, which weighs in at 6.2kg, and the latest 85mm Macro, which is T2.8. All focal lengths feature a 1.8x squeeze.
