Marshall Electronics has updated its range of miniature and compact cameras with new models boasting performance enhancements and upgraded sensors delivering improved colour and clarity.
The new cameras include larger sensors, upgraded processors and improved industrial design. PoV camera users will also notice improved signal strength and ultra-low noise output.
Its new CV506 HD miniature camera offers simultaneous 3G-SDI and HDMI options in a tiny form factor, outputting up to 1920x1080p at 50/60fps, with interchangeable lenses and remote adjustability for matching other cameras.
It replaces the CV505, with a 30% larger sensor for better picture, colour depth and low light performance.
Other upgrades include the new CV503, replacing the best-selling CV502, the CV344, succeeding the CV343, and the CV346, an upgrade of the CV345.
The new cameras include all frame rates in one model, plus newly added stereo audio inputs and 23.98 fps for TV and cinema production.
They also use a new body style with locking I/O connections. They add white clip and pedestal control with remote image adjustment capability. They will also enable field-upgradable firmware updates as new features are added.
