IBC will be the first European outing for integrated wireless RF and 5G cameras from Grass Valley.
The LDX 135 RF and LDX 150 RF are engineered to meet rigorous demands of live productions by integrating high-quality wireless camera feeds into production workflows. Both cameras provide the same technology as the wired LDX 135 and LDX 150 versions, but with integrated wireless transmission via RF or 5G bonded cellular. Compared to the wired camera versions, the wireless RF versions have a shorter chassis length that make room for the transmitter kit while maintaining a stable, balanced shoulder operation.
The adoption of wireless technology provides broadcasters with much greater freedom and efficiency. They allow for greater mobility and flexibility in the recording and transmission of content and facilitate the coverage of events from different locations without the limitations of physical wired connectivity.
Grass Valley says the use of wireless RF and 5G technologies significantly improve operational freedom and efficiency for broadcasters.
