The PTZ3 Plus and PTZ3 UHD Plus cameras from Vizrt deliver HD or UHD quality, 20-30x zoom, AI tracking, and, in a world first, embedded FreeD camera tracking data via NDI|HX.

The cameras are aimed at bridging the gap between pro AV and broadcast for live production or presentation, with intelligent AI-driven talent tracking based on face and posture detection, greater microphone choice with phantom power and easy integration with AR. Tracking continues even when talent turns away from the shot, with an auto 0.5-10s timeout/reset if the presenter leaves the presentation area; thanks to edge limitation, the camera never tracks off set or breaks a greenscreen effect.

FreeD up: PTZ3 Plus models now include FreeD camera tracking data via NDI|HX

A single Ethernet cable provides video, audio, power, control, tally and FreeD camera tracking data over NDI|HX, which embeds camera tracking metadata in every frame. Owners of the original NewTek PTZ3 and PTZ3 UHD models can upgrade to the FreeD capability via free firmware.
