Video streaming platform Castr announced a range of enhancements to what it describes as its all-in-one streaming service.
New features include an embeddable HTML5 player to enable streaming from websites to over-the-top platforms like Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV. Also included are video and live stream monetisation capabilities and HLS/Mpeg-Dash support.
Castr transcodes livestreams to multiple bitrates, allowing content to be delivered across multiple devices without buffering, lag, or delay. Security and analytics are included, along with cloud recording, player customisation and more.
