Fremantle has appointed an SVP of AI & Automation to explore possible uses of artificial intelligence across its global business.
The company has promoted New York-based Tom Hoffman to the role. He has worked with Fremantle for almost 17 years and was most recently SVP of Digital & Social Media for the company.
Television Business International reported that the role will see Hoffman search out potential tools that could assist Fremantle’s production and distribution operations. TBI said these tools will be ‘supplementary’ to Fremantle’s existing operations.
Fremantle is one of the world’s largest creators, producers and distributors of entertainment, drama & film and documentaries.
