The UHD World Association (UWA) will host a UHD-focussed roundtable event for C-suite leaders in the media, tech, and broadcast sectors during IBC2024, on Sunday 15th September.
‘Embrace UHD, Embrace the Future’ will be moderated by Maria Rua Aguete, Senior Research Director, Media and Entertainment at OMDIA, and will discuss the huge potential and monetisation opportunities that exist within UHD production.
While UHD hardware has become widely adopted, the potential of UHD content is just beginning to unfold. The UWA is committed to addressing the challenges of UHD production and distribution, with a focus on exploring innovative business models that can drive new revenue streams.
Since the introduction of Audio Vivid and HDR Vivid technical standards, the UWA has been instrumental in building a comprehensive ecosystem that connects all segments of the value chain. This includes content producers, professional production tool vendors, content service platforms, and chip and device manufacturers.
Participants can expect to learn from leading experts as they share their experiences and strategies for overcoming current challenges in UHD production.
