Carbonite Ultra Solo is a compact UHD production switcher designed to enable smaller operators to deliver professional switching.
Available in two versions, Carbonite Ultra Solo comes as an all-in-one system that incorporates the frame and control surface electronics in a compact unit, and a 1U frame that can be controlled by separate hardware or a software-based control panel. Both deliver the same performance as the leading Carbonite mid-sized production switcher, enabling even modest-size facilities to benefit from the professional production capabilities.
Features include multi-format operation that supports HD and UHD operations. It’s also the first Ross production switcher to incorporate a webcam output for conferencing or live streaming applications.
Jeff Moore, Executive VP and Chief Marketing Officer, Ross, said: “It’s targeted at more cost effective, smaller footprint applications such as small studios, corporations, flypacks, and houses of worship. With features like a USB output, two multiviewers and an internal audio mixer, it solves a lot of problems for a much broader range of customers.”
