Tracey Connolly takes on the role from Wendell Lonergan, who retires from the role at the end of this month after 47 years with the company. Lonergan spent his first years at the company in engineering roles and was involved in Nautel’s early AM designs.

Connolly brings more than 30 years of sales leadership and business development experience to the role and will manage the company’s broadcast sales around the world, focusing on customer and partner relationships.

Connolly said: “I have big shoes to fill! I’ve only been in the role for a week, so the timing of IBC is perfect. This is a critical show for me; the people in this company are so tenured and have so much technical knowledge, and it’s thrilling to be able to learn from both them and Nautel’s European client base at this show.”
