Gracenote, the content data business unit of Nielsen, has announced the appointment of Ryan Moore to the new role of chief business officer for Gracenote, effective July 2025. Moore will lead all go-to-market activities designed to drive growth and capitalise on near- and long-term opportunities in the rapidly evolving media landscape.
Moore said: “As the leading entertainment data provider, Gracenote has a unique opportunity to help media companies reimagine how they connect audiences with the content they love and deliver cutting edge user experiences. I’m excited to bring my deep experience with entertainment and technology to Gracenote to further expand our reach, enhance our offerings and create even greater value for our clients and the consumers they serve.”
Most recently, Ryan was global chief revenue officer of SuperAwesome, a subsidiary of Epic Games. There, he focused on helping brands and content creators use emerging 3D technologies to engage customers in new ways. He has also held roles at Twitter (now X) and mobile streaming company Quibi.
