Making it even easier to use as a fully featured production camera, Blackmagic Design is launching Blackmagic Camera ProDock, a new dock that adds professional camera connections to iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The ProDock works with the Blackmagic Camera app to add support for external timecode, genlock, audio, SSD recording and more, promising to transform iPhone even further into a powerful production tool for high-end studio and on-set environments.
Blackmagic Camera ProDock is available now from Apple Store online and Blackmagic Design resellers worldwide for £255, making it super accessible for all kinds of storytellers.
Glenn Lightbody, Director EMEA at Blackmagic Design, said: "With more and more people adopting iPhone technology to tell their stories, including recent cinematic release 28 Years Later, the ProDock facilitates usability and accessibility and gives filmmakers more options than ever before, without being hindered by connectivity.”
“We’ve had a brilliant reception at IBC, with a real buzz on the stand regarding the new product.”
