The GoStream Duet 8 ISO is a compact broadcast switcher that’s built to stream. It also comes as part of the GoStream Duet Kit, as an all-in-one live stream switcher and multi-camera video mixer with recording and playback.
The Duet 8 ISO switcher has four physical and four stream inputs and supports HDMI, SDI, NDI, USB 3.0 webcams, SD/SSD playback, web browser input, RTMP and SRT, with two XLR audio inputs. It has PGM and eight ISO recorder channels, so can record all video and audio inputs, and programme output in H.264.
There are two downstream keyers for logos and lower-thirds overlays, one upstream keyer for green screen keying, PiP and pattern, while the web browser supports dynamic overlays and real-time maps, including eight-layer composites. Other features include auto switching, Stream Deck and Companion support, a hard panel and PC control software.
The kit adds a 14in 1080x1920 screen, a silent fan and three cheese plates with 1/4in and 3/8in threads, built in to a robust carry case so it can act as a mobile (5kg) studio. It can be powered by AC, DC or a USB-C PD power bank, with a USB DC 5V out to power other devices.
