The Videndum stand at IBC2025 will be showing the new Manfrotto One Hybrid tripod, designed for mirrorless camera users working in both video and photography.
Paolo Frison, Program Director, Manfrotto, said: “The One Hybrid tripod is the result of an extensive user research programme involving professionals across Europe, Asia and the US. Every feature, from the new leg shape to the Xchange system, was driven by real-world feedback. We didn’t just design for hybrid creators; we designed with them.”
Available in carbon fibre and aluminium, it introduces a non-round leg shape to deliver the stability expected from photo tripods while improving torsional resistance for smooth video panning. It also includes Xtend, a patented mechanism that allows all leg sections to be deployed simultaneously in one action.
Xchange, Manfrotto’s new quick release system, allows users to swap tripod heads, sliders, or other accessories quickly, without tools, and is part of its new 500X Fluid video head. Its fluid drag system offers smooth pan and tilt, while a selectable counterbalance optimised for 2.4kg cameras delivers extra control. A hinged plate simplifies switching between landscape and portrait shooting.
