Delivering new ways to manage newsroom production across news, radio, esports, WebTV and sports broadcasting, Octopus Newsroom is set to unveil a variety of new tools and updates as well as a brand-new look.
This year, its Octopus 12 system has a revamped Web Client that brings the full power of the Octopus ecosystem into a browser, claiming to be lightweight and fast, and designed for teams working collaboratively across multiple locations with no installation necessary.
The company is also showcasing its latest Contextual AI tools, aiming to understand the full story and not just the keywords. Octopus says that whether a user is summarising, rewriting, or adapting content for different audiences, AI in Octopus always acts as a smart assistant rather than a replacement. For full control, it can even be run on-prem, with full data privacy.
