Industry events
Video Exchange MENA takes place from 28-29 October. The Dubai based event looks at the evolution of traditional business models in an age of transforming consumer behaviour, bringing together the most senior heavyweights from across the broadcasting, OTT and telco industries.
CEBIT Australia will be from 29-31 October and showcases the dynamic merger of business with technology. The event will hold at the International Convention Centre in Sydney, Australia.
In Africa, Broadcasters Convention of Southern Africa will be taking place 29-31 October in Victoria Falls, Livingstone, Zambia and also includes the 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Southern African Broadcasting Association (SABA).
Company Announcements
AT&T, Akamai Technologies, Alphabet, and Canon will each release Q3 2019 earnings on Monday.
Apple will release Q4 2019 earnings on Wednesday.
Film and TV releases
Halloween kicks off with Doctor Sleep, a horror story that takes place years after The Shining. Releases in cinemas on Thursday.
Michelle Williams and Julianne Moore co-star in After the Wedding which hits cinemas on Friday.
