Microphone specialist Shure is set to debut two portable wireless systems designed for different user needs.
The SLX-D portable digital wireless system is designed for professional audio users on location, while for content creators, videographers and mobile journalists, the MoveMic claims to be the world’s smallest dual-channel direct-to-phone microphone.

Built for the film, ENG and video industries, SLX-D portables include the SLXD5 portable digital wireless receiver and the SLXD3 plug-on digital wireless transmitter. SLXD5 has a flexible, miniaturised design that can be installed on-camera or in an audio bag, enabling use in any location. The SLXD3 wireless transmitter transforms any XLR source into a wireless one, including dynamic condenser microphones.
MoveMic is designed to deliver mobile audio capture for content creators, videographers, and mobile journalists. With a microphone no larger than a USB drive, it includes a custom acoustic design and patent-pending wireless software that Shure says produces broadcast-quality audio with industry-leading portability, offering up to 24 hours of direct-to-phone recording.
