The new Arri Studio New York is expanding the company’s virtual production expertise to advertising and commercial content production. 

It has previously opened a large 360º VP studio at its facility in London, and helped build the Dark Bay Virtual Production Stage at Studio Babelsberg, Berlin. Dark Bay is currently one of Europe’s largest, permanently installed LED studios for mixed reality film production.

The New York studio aims to offer an efficient, user-friendly introduction to virtual production with in-house creative and technical support and a reduced carbon footprint. It has space for a live audience making it suitable for corporate videos, interview-style setups, town-hall presentations, educational and training clips, fashion shoots and music videos. 

It has a curved LED wall with image-based lighting and workflow integration. “Arri Studio New York not only offers leading production infrastructure and convenience, but agencies and corporate customers can also expect a supportive environment, ensuring all creative needs are met under one roof,” said Andy Shipsides, President North America Arri Rental.
