Frequency, which supports a number of streaming television channels, announced the European expansion of its managed channel services (MCS) division. Launched in the US to support rights holders and brands creating premium FAST channels, Frequency is now extending MCS and its channel offerings to English-speaking Europe, with plans to enter language-specific territories in 2025.
Blair Harrison, CEO of Frequency, said: “FAST channels have rapidly become central to global streaming strategies, blending the best of linear and on-demand discovery and consumption models. As we bring our managed channel services to Europe, we are providing a turnkey solution that allows content owners to reach new audiences quickly and efficiently, tapping into the rising demand for ad-supported streaming.”
Frequency MCS offers an all-inclusive suite of services, ranging from library and rights evaluation, creative packaging and production, media operations, scheduling, and on-air creative, to ongoing channel promotion and optimisation.
Jon Cohen, chief revenue officer at Frequency, added: “Our goal is to empower content owners to efficiently launch FAST channels that are not only visually compelling but also aligned with audience demand and platform dynamics. With the European market poised for significant growth in FAST, we are ready to help media companies unlock new revenue streams and enhance their brand presence.”
