- Accusonus: We want to democratise access to high quality audio
Audio repair software developer Accusonus has raised $3.3 million in Series A funding.
Greece and US-based Accusonus uses machine learning for audio and music applications with a particular focus on software to aid the music recording process.
The company has recently developed a suite of tools aimed at video content and podcast producers that need to repair or “clean up” audio.
Accusonus has produced its own patented machine learning and AI technologies, which are applied to the ERA range of audio clean up tools. These are aimed variously at audio engineers, filmmakers, video editors and YouTubers.
The Accusonus ERA (Enhancement and Repair of Audio) tools are offered as a ‘Standard’ or ‘Pro’ package and work as plugins with Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut, Avid Pro Tools, Apple Logic Pro, and Blackmagic Design’s Da Vinci Resolve.

According to a report by Tech Crunch, the round is led by Athens-based Venture Friends, with participation from Big Pi, IQBility, PJ Tech, along with a syndicate of US-based investors led by Accusonus co-founder Michael Tzannes.
In the report, co-founder and CEO Alex Tsilfidis said that Accusonus wants to democratise access to high quality audio via AI-driven tools that remove the learning curve required by traditional audio software.
