- Workflow Tour to explore content supply chains
- Ralph Cochrane will lead tour as part of IBC SHOWCASE

The latest tools for building and operating an efficient content supply chain will be explored during today’s (Thursday) Workflow Tour.
Led by Ralph Cochrane, a chartered engineer and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, the tour will guide attendees through the efficient management and preparation of completed content ready for delivery, including ingest, WC, localisation, compliance, transcode and transform, packaging, storage, MAM, cloud, workflow orchestration and audio/sound.
Taking place at 16:00 (BST), the Content Supply Chain Workflow Tour has been designed for those who work in content management who want to learn more efficient ways of managing and preparing content foe delivery.
As well as hearing from senior industry experts, attendees will be able to network with peers and quiz presenters. Vendors taking part in the tour include James Gilbert, Rohde & Schwarz; Rhys Morgan, Intelsat; Daniel Fenton, Sony; Siegfried Foessel, Fraunhofer; Bill O’Hara, Intelsat; and Kevin Joyce, TAG VS.
Tomorrow’s Workflow Tour will focus on the direct to consumer delivery of content, taking in streaming platforms, workflows including CDNs, security, subscription management, ad-tech and addressable advertising, UI/UX, data and personalisation.
Those taking part in the Direct to Consumer Workflow Tour will receive a full overview of direct to consumer platforms, insight into how data is used to personalise user experience and a view on subscription models and addressable advertising in the direct to consumer model.
