Elenos Group company Broadcast Electronics is expanding its sales efforts by hiring Ben Marth, who has spent 18 years in radio and TV, most recently as regional sales manager for a digital media hardware company.
In his new role, Marth is national sales manager for the United States and Latin America and international advisor for the Illinois-based broadcast equipment manufacturer.
Marth will focus his efforts on the new Version 11 of the AudioVault automation system and will also assist in international sales support for the 11 sales managers the Elenos Group has worldwide.
AudioVault 11 is a result of 30 years of radio software innovation and evolution. The capabilities of AudioVault 11 were specifically designed for a US-based global radio network which distributes over 200 programmes via satellite to more than 50 affiliates and streams to tens of thousands of listeners. It is expected to be released to all radio stations in July 2021.
Marth said: “I worked directly with AudioVault in my role at WGEM and its reliability was outstanding, it never let us down. Plus, new station employees found it intuitive and easy to master.”
Perry Priestley, COO/CSO at Broadcast Electronics, said: “Ben will add a lot to our AudioVault efforts, with his industry experience combined with a professional sales background. The AudioVault is world renowned technology and AV11 is an industry changer and needs someone with his skills and tenacity to bring the product to market. Ben’s character fits perfectly into the BE team; a deep understanding and dedication to radio’s needs, a commitment to quality and a zest for life. We are delighted to have him on board to help BE and our customers meet their requirements.”
