Gcore enhances streaming platform for broadcasters with Edge AI
Gcore, which provides content delivery, hosting and security solutions to TV and online broadcasters, demonstrated the addition of new AI-enabled features to its streaming platform including speech recognition and content moderation at IBC2024 in Amsterdam in September. Sean Hammond, UK & Nordics Manager, Gcore, said the new features use Edge AI to help broadcasters and streaming companies automate audio, text and user generated video content without requiring prior AI or Machine Learning experience.
