A highlight of our efforts includes further developing the widely-used among journalists InVID-WeVerify verification plug-in. This popular browser extension combines a range of verification and analysis features into a single, comprehensive platform. In addition to enhancing InVID-WeVerify, the vera.ai project is also integrating several new solutions into existing services like the collaborative verification platform Truly Media.

During the sessions, the vera.ai team will showcase the AI features of both Truly Media and InVID-WeVerify. Christos Gavalas will present the AI capabilities of Truly Media, including a deepfake image of Donald Trump, an analysis of a deepfake video featuring Joe Biden, as well as automated fact-checking report generation. Kamila Koronska will demonstrate the verification functionalities available to media professionals through InVID-WeVerify plugin.
