Seeder’s new S260VR-2C-PT40 is a virtual reality encoder head, with PT40 pedestal, that can carry up to 26kg, including teleprompter.
The system supports data input via encoders from pan, tilt, zoom, focus, lens and crane, and automatically recognizes Canon or Fujinon full servo lenses to collect zoom and focus data. It boasts tracking precision for pan and tilt of <0.001° with zoom and focus of <0.002°.
It supports the Free-D protocol and has an absolute value pan/tilt encoder that so that users only need to set its position calibration. It also supports use with a manual tracking crane where users can define the jib length. It is compatible with VR sets from Vizrt, Orad and Brainstorm, amongst others.
The fluid head has a 100mm bowl, 16-level counterbalance, with ten grades of drag in both horizontal and vertical directions, a tilt range of +90°/-80°, and takes a payload of between 3-26kg.
