Swedish video-over-internet specialist Intinor appointed Tommy Edlund as its new CEO with effect from 6 November. He takes over from Lina Zackrisson, who has left to run her family’s business.
Edlund is an engineer by training, and a graduate of Umeå University. For almost a quarter of a century he has worked for Konftel, a pioneer in collaborative communications. Most recently he was deputy CEO as well as director of sales for its operations.
Fredrik Jonsson, Intinor chairman, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Tommy to our company. We believe that his experience and knowledge are a perfect fit for the leadership we need to continue our growth worldwide.”
Edlund added: “It feels incredibly exciting to have been trusted to lead a successful and well-established technology company like Intinor. I look forward to getting to know the whole team better, and take the company to the next stage of development.”
