Zero Density is showing off a comprehensive range of virtual solutions at its IBC stand, with enhancements to its software and hardware running both greenscreen cyclorama and a LED virtual production stage.
Demos are showing the transformation of the physical environment into a photorealistic extended stage with virtual and augmented reality graphics combined.
Previews of RealityHub 1.4, a universal control UI that lets broadcasters control virtual studios from a web browser and Reality 5, real-time virtual studio and AR/XR platform based on Unreal Engine 5, are also taking place. The stand also features the Traxis talentS markerless stereoscopic talent-tracking system, while a host of demos utilise an end-to-end 4K ST2110 IP workflow.
Serkan Acar, Regional Sales Manager, APAC for Zero Density, said: “We’re finding here at IBC that people have been investing in some focused [broadcast graphics] products, which can do the job for only certain [productions], but not for the more comprehensive projects. Our product can do different types of production: greenscreen, AR and extended reality with LED walls. The combination of all three is possible within Zero Density. We are showing a huge integrated ecosystem of software and hardware here together.”
Acar also revealed future enhancements to tracking for RealityHub users. “It’s basically a tracking system for all types of tracking,” he said. “We’ve been working with all the tracking providers and we have had no issues. But we are trying to be self-sufficient, so all tracking is going to be controlled from the single point of control in Reality Hub. We are trying to make life easy and make the production better; we want to provide support up and down the line.”
