The SPE-2100VWG series coaxial transceiver module from Optoway can transmit/receive serial digital signals such as those defined in ST2082, ST2081, ST424, ST292, and ST259, over 75ohms coaxial cables via HD-BNC connectors.
It supports up to 12Gbps and the Taiwanese boutique optics design and manufacturing vendor says it is specifically designed to transmit/receive the pathological patterns for 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI. An SFP+ 20-pin connector allows hot plug capacity, and temperature and voltage monitoring functions are available via an inter-integrated circuit bus (I2C).
Two versions exist, with the SPE-2100VWG designed for use in 0°- 70°C operation, and the SPE-2100AVWGl suitable for a broader -40° to 85° range. Applications include video, camera, and security monitoring and use in high-density video routers.
