Sitting on the board alongside the working film and TV directors are CEO Andy Harrower, Chief Financial Officer Jo Bromley, and independent non-executive directors Deborah Stones and Tom Toumazis MBE.
Directors UK CEO Andy Harrower said: “With many of our members not working, or working much less than they’re used to, it’s undoubtedly a tough time to be a director. With the UK industry in its current state, nothing is guaranteed — that’s why the first-hand experience, knowledge and insight into their craft that our board members bring to the table is so important to what we do here.”
Directors UK has over 8,000 members, helping directors negotiate, collect and distribute royalties and secure better pay and working conditions. It also lobbies government and industry partners on issues which impact screen directors.
